Product roadmap/Updated August 2026
FranOps runs the operational core of a franchise system — franchisees, units, and the territories that separate them — and connects it directly to the places demand actually arrives: your locator, your location pages, your forms, and your booking flow.
This page sets out what is available now and where we are heading, so you can judge the fit for where your brand will be in a year rather than only where it is today.
Everything below is live and running for franchise brands today. It is included in the platform rather than sold as a series of separate modules.
Under active construction. Early-access customers help shape these before general release.
Connection and mapping are built. Live data is pending Google's review of our production API access — a step on their schedule, not ours.
Where we are taking the product next. The theme is depth in franchise development, and getting a lead to the right person fast — the two places a franchise system loses the most money.
Directions we are actively investigating and have not committed to. If one of these is important to your brand, tell us — it is the most direct way to influence what we build.
Three commitments that hold across every item on this page.
Territories, exclusivity, unit transfers, and the line between what HQ sees and what a franchisee sees are part of the data model itself. General-purpose tools reproduce this with workarounds that break as you grow.
Franchisees pay a technology fee and rightly resent tools that only serve head office. They get scoped access to their own locations, territory, pages, and leads — which is what makes the fee defensible at an advisory council meeting.
Every record is available through an API generated for your organization, custom fields included, and through an agent interface that respects the permissions of whoever is asking. No export request, no professional services engagement.
About this roadmap. It describes our current product direction and is provided for information only. It is not a commitment, a contract, or a guarantee of delivery. Priorities and sequence change as we learn from the brands we work with, and items may move between horizons or be set aside. Deliberately, no dates are given.
Please do not rely on unreleased functionality when making a purchasing decision — buy on what is available today, and treat everything beyond that as direction. Anything dependent on a third-party platform is additionally subject to that platform's own approval and timing.
